What is Becca's Closet? Becca's Closet is a non-profit organization that provides formal attire and scholarship funding to deserving high school students.
The organization was created to honor Rebecca Kirtman who passed away in an automobile accident in August 2003. In the spring of 2003, Becca single-handedly collected and distributed over 250 prom dresses to needy girls in South Florida so that they could attend their high school prom.
How do I make a donation? Checks should be made payable to Becca's Closet and can be mailed to :

We will mail an acknowledgement and thank you letter upon receipt of the donation.
I would like to donate a dress. First, check our website for a list of chapters and if there is one near you, please contact them to coordinate how and where to donate. If there is not a chapter close by, dresses can be mailed to the following:

Can I get a tax deductible receipt? Sure, just ask for one when you drop off your gowns or request one if you are mailing your gowns.
I need a dress. First, check our website for a list of chapters and if there is one near you, please contact them to see where and when dresses are being distributed. If you reside in South Florida, you can call or e-mail us to set up an appointment to visit our distribution center located in the Festival Market Place in Broward County starting on March 12th, 2005. If there is not a chapter near you, please e-mail us at beccascloset49@aol.com . Our organization is still growing and we will do our best to help you, but we hope you will understand that it may not be possible to get you a dress this year.
